Lions Emblem

The Halliday Lion's Club  was chartered on May 20, 2004 with a mission to help the needs of the community, and support Lions Worldwide. Our Multiple District 5 is an International District; one of nine sub districts that include North and South Dakota(United States), and Saskatchewan, Canada.

As Lions, our mission is to make a difference and we have, over and over again with programs that succeed in our community. Service to people who are blind and who are visually impaired has always been one of our most significant programs. We will continue to provide valuable service to our comminity and help those who are less fortunate than we are. Our motto is: "WE SERVE". Like Lions Clubs International, our Halliday Lions Club is a strong organization with a proud history of accomplishment.

Today, with more than 1.4 million men and women members in more than 184 countries and geographical areas, Lions have expanded their focus to help meet the ever-increasing needs of our global community.

As individuals, Lions are people of tireless drive, uncommon spirit and ambitious goals. We are united in efforts through more than 44,000 individual clubs around the world.

And, we continue to serve in ways that have made us a global leader in humanitarian assistance, community welfare and promotion of international understanding.
